3. Meeting Point and Times (Check-in)
Meeting Point: The meeting point and initial briefing take place at Angra do Heroísmo Marina, where you will be welcomed on board our vessel by our crew.
Arrival Time: You must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time.
Delays and No-Show (No-Show): Due to the nature of the activity and respect for schedules, delays of more than 10 minutes without prior notice will be considered a No-Show (failure to attend), and the company reserves the right not to run the tour and to charge the full service amount.
4. Cancellations and Weather Conditions (Very Important)
Cancellation Due to Bad Weather: Maritime activities depend entirely on sea conditions, wind, and overall safety. The decision to depart lies solely with the Skipper (Captain). If the tour is cancelled by the company due to adverse weather conditions or force majeure, you will be offered rescheduling or a full refund of any amount paid, with no entitlement to additional compensation.
Cancellation by the Customer: You may cancel or change your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the activity starts. Cancellations after this period or failure to attend entitle the company to require full or partial payment for the tour.
5. Safety Rules and Onboard Conduct
Briefing: Before departure, all passengers will receive a full safety briefing and instructions on how to handle the equipment. Compliance with safety rules is mandatory.
Skipper’s Authority: The Skipper’s and crew’s orders and guidance must be strictly followed. The company reserves the right to refuse boarding or stop the activity (with no right to a refund) for customers who show dangerous behaviour, signs of intoxication, or negligence.
Health Restrictions: Our tours are not suitable for:

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. To resolve any dispute arising from this contract, the parties choose the Court of the District of Angra do Heroísmo, expressly waiving any other.
